As a mixed media painter, Kate combines painting with drawing, collage and other materials. With a diverse subject matter, her work often reflects personal journeys.

Kate completed her BFA in fine arts with an emphasis in painting in the summer of 2005 at Ball State University (Muncie, IN).

In the fall of 2006, Kate was awarded a year-long residency from the Stutz Artists Association. Kate is currently the Vice-President of the SAA.

Also in 2006, Kate was selected as the Curator for Lilly Oncology on Canvas, managing an international art collection touring the U.S. and abroad.

She exhibits her work regularly in solo and group shows throughout central Indiana.
