As a mixed media painter, Kate combines painting with drawing, collage and other materials. With a diverse subject matter, her work often reflects personal journeys and experiences.

Kate completed her BFA in fine arts with an emphasis in painting in the summer of 2005 at Ball State University (Muncie, IN).

In the fall of 2006, Kate was awarded a year-long residency from the Stutz Artists Association and is currently the Vice-President of the SAA.

Kate is the former Manager of Curatorial Services for Lilly Oncology on Canvas (2004-2010), managing an international art collection touring the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

She exhibits her work regularly in solo and group shows throughout central Indiana.
